Fanbook update:

I had a look around and compared printers’ prices. As a softcover, the book will likely cost around 7 Euros (plus shipping) if I have 50 copies made. The books would be cheaper if the print run was higher, but I’m reluctant to have too many printed.

I re-scanned all the drawings for a uniform look but they require some fiddling with gradation still to ensure a good outcome. Also, once I’m sure what paper I want to use I can design the covers and back according to the printer’s specification. I hope to get that done next week.

In the meantime, you can download the pdf:

Sherlock after the Fall Fanbook

It’s free of charge, but if you like it you could consider a donation to sponsor my dad and I for our charity bike ride for the Prince’s Trust on Sunday May 19. So far we have collected ₤450 of donations, so a big thank you to all who’ve donated so far. It’d be great if we managed to hit ₤500 by the end of next week.

deastrumquodvicis asked: I would love to have a PDF of your After the Fall artwork!

There’s a post with downloading info here:

As promised, here’s the download for the pdf:

It’s free of charge, but if you like it you could consider a donation to sponsor my dad and me for our charity bike ride in less than a month. It’s for the Prince’s Trust, a charity very dear to Benedict. Help us reach our goal of collecting more than ₤400 of donations.

For those interested in a printed version of the fanbook, I’m going to check with some printers and compare prices etc. As soon as I know more, I’ll post the info here.

Sherlock after the Fall Fanbook.

Here’s what it looks like. It contains all 42 drawings I created for the series.

So far it exists in the form of a pdf which I could send to people who are interested or I might put it up for download somewhere. It won’t be suitable for printing, though.

Would there be interest in “real”, printed copies, too? If yes, I’d need to roughly know how many so I can have a look around for affordable printing options. Let me know what you think.

I’d love to see it printed, your work is wonderful. However I can’t help but feel if printed it’d be more beneficial to have your images as full page spreads or something (what with all the detail!), rather than the size they are now. But as a fellow artist, I understand how expensive printing can be. Either way, it’d be great to see this printed :)

Actually, they are full page spreads. The book has 46 pages in total including the covers and is an A5 (21x14,85cm) landscape format. I just combined six pages in one image so I could put them all up at once since tumblr only allows ten images per post.

Edit: You can download the pdf here:

I’d love to have it in print! Why don’t you try to sell it like an illustrated book containing your fanfiction and the fanart related to it?

Thanks for your reply and your interest in the project :)

The idea is interesting, but I’m not sure it’d create enough interest. Including the fics would create one huge tome and would require some serious editing of the fics and typesetting and such. And not all drawings of the series were inspired by my fanfiction, so it would be difficult to include them as well. Some are based on others’ writings, too, or are entirely unrelated to fics.

If there’s enough interest, however, I will consider readying the fanbook as it is for print.

Moreover, I consider adding the actual illustrations to my fics on AO3 instead of their links only so that people can download the full package as pdfs.

All seven illustrations for Over Stair and Under Stair, the final chapter of which is now online. They also constitute the last seven pieces (of 42) of my “Sherlock after the Fall” series. Their titles are:

Sherlock after the Fall: Returning (II)”

42nd and last in my series. Thanks to all who encouraged and inspired me throughout it with their comments, their stories, their suggestions. It’s been a great experience. As I’ve mentioned before, I’m going to compile a fanbook of all 42 drawings, so watch out for more info on that.

This drawing is also the seventh illustration for Over Stair and Under Stair, my reunion fic. The last (fifth) chapter is almost written and I hope to post it tomorrow.

Sherlock after the Fall: Returning (I)”

41st in my series and sixth illustration for Over Stair and Under Stair. I hope to post the chapter containing this scene (chapter four) later tonight.

Edit: Chapter 4 is up now.

This is the fifth set of eight drawings for my “Sherlock after the Fall”- series. I’ve decided to draw two pieces to get to the nice round number of 42 drawings in total. I’m also playing with the idea of compiling a fanbook. Would there be interest in something like that?

Some of the pics are illustrations for fanfics. For more information follow the links to the respective drawing. The rest of the series can either be found at the #after the fall tag or by having a look below.
