“So this is ‘tumblr’, then? Interesting.”
Drawing created for beautifulfic’s upcoming 1000 followers celebration.
“Ticklish”
Teaser for chapter 10 (final chapter) of Over Hill and Under Hill which I’m currently in the process of writing. Don’t know if I’ll manage to finish it before New Year’s Day, but I’ll do my best.
Chapter 10 is up now, only it’s not the last one …
I decided to divide it because it was getting too long. The final chapter will deal with the return journey and will likely get two drawings, “How to train your detective”, the making of I’m going to post in the next couple of days under this tag, and a yet untitled one inspired by a certain photograph by Robert Doisneau. Thanks for bearing with me :).
“Sherlock (and John) after the Fall: Wishing”
29th and 30th in my series. I decided to do an angsty double feature for my last piece of Sherlock art in 2012, in the hope that our boys will be duly reunited in the new year.
I just did a quick count, and realised that in past year I drew over one hundred pieces of Sherlock fanart (not including countless sketches). I blame this not only on the brilliant series itself but also on the constant inspiration the Sherlock fandom provides. So here’s to all those other fanartists, authors, analysts, fanvidders, cosplayers … all those folks that make the fandom such a joy to be in. And also to my followers old and new. Thanks a lot for your support.

Some days ago I saw this apple-tree full of mistletoe while out running which inspired this particular “hallway moment”.
And another reblog for some Christmas cheer :)
Amazingly gorgeous pencil drawings and illustrations by khorazir.
The second row shows a (small) sample of her series “Sherlock after the Fall”. I chose “Breaking” and “Surviving”. I highly recommend you have a look at the entire tag.
The last row features two fanfic illustrations. khorazir does a lot of those and they’re all beautiful.
The left picture is a scene from Mad Lori’s “Alone on the Water” and the right drawing shows a moment from achievableformofflight’s Homophobia. There is also a whole bunch of gorgeous art for Mad Lori’s Performance in a Leading Role.
All in all you’ll do well to go and check out khorazir’s art because all of it is simply stunning.
Aww, thanks a lot. I’m chuffed.
“Mr August”
For Xistential Angst, who wanted a depiction of John’s calendar shot as described in her fanfic The Detective and the Pin-Up. Sherlock discovers an … interesting feature of John’s military career. Hilarity, awkwardness and sexy times ensue :).
“We can try the kissing”
Artwork for chapter 9 of my fic Over Hill and Under Hill. About time, boys!
“Post shower shave”
Gift for pearlenoir for the johnlockchallenges gift exchange. Pearlenoir, thank you so much for this prompt:
(if there is anything in the world hotter than watching a freshly showered man wrapped in a towel and shaving — with all those weird little things they do to shave the “trouble” spots (e.g., a lower lip stretched tight over bottom teeth to get that patch right below the lip; a head tipped back impossibly far to get at that patch beneath the chin; the fingertips pulling taut the skin along the jaw just in front of the earlobe…all done while never breaking eye contact with the image in the mirror) — I haven’t encountered it.
Also a big thank you to the folks at johnlockchallenges for organising the exchange so well. I had lots of fun with the prompt, so much in fact that I did two drawings. Hope you like the results.
Although the second pic is just a lame excuse for showing more of the boys’ bodies … ;)
